about Fatima

Fatima Qazi
Director of Recruitment

Fatima is a currently an undergraduate student. She is an energetic youth who enjoys writing and research, as well as getting to know people. She is passionate about the awareness of both physical and mental health.

Fatima had originally joined the OSL program so she could complete her hours in high school, but getting to work with others and learning more about its message and goals, she became a lot more interested. She has never taken a CPR course before, but from certain experiences, she feels that it is something mandatory to learn, as it could be life-saving. She has always wanted to work in a healthcare program, so this could be her first step.

Having never formally taken a CPR course, Fatima understands its importance and acknowledges that it is something everyone should know. As the Director of Recruitment and Volunteering, she hopes to meet many people who feel just as passionate about this issue as she is.  It was not offered at any of the schools she had gone to despite it being mandatory in Ontario, so she is aware that it is a huge problem. It is a skill that would do someone no harm to learn, and the more people who have experience, the better it is for everyone.
